High Intensity Discharge (HID) is the latest technology in automotive lighting. It replaces the filament of the light bulb with xenon gas by utilizing the gas discharge principle, an arc of light is created between two electrodes in a small capsule filled with a mixture of xenon gas and halide salts. When high voltage is applied, the gas is ignited to produce an arc of light.
Xenon HID outputs three times the amount of light compared to a standard halogen bulb. The lamps also glow at a higher light temperature and gives it its distinct color and appearance.
.: Rebased Xenon HID Bulb
Our rebased xenon HID bulbs start their lives as Philips™ D2 bulbs. We rebase the bulbs with custom molded bases and optically align the primary components using lasers. They can be installed directly into your factory halogen headlight assembly with no modification whatsoever.

Unlike other bulbs with glued bases, these professionally rebased bulbs’ focal points are optically aligned during the rebased process to ensure absolute correct beam pattern and maximum performance.
The life expectancy of these bulbs is between 2,500 to 3,000 hours which is equal to 5 plus years of actual driving time. Like our xenon HID conversion kit, our bulbs also come with 3-year warranty.*
The color temperatures of the bulbs, which are measured in Kelvin (K), are different. The color of the light output is influenced by the bulb type, viewing angle, and light housing.

.: Frequently Asked Questions
Will these bulbs fit my XXX kit?
It really depends. Every rebased manufacturer uses slightly different connectors on their bulbs and ballasts. For your convenience, we included the following detailed pictures for you to compare our connectors with yours.
If your current ballast uses different connectors than ours, you will need to purchase the "ballast connectors" above. This way, no modification will be done on our bulb and the warranty is not affected. Please compare the connectors carefully and ask us for help if in doubt.
Are these Philips™ bulbs?
Like the bulbs we use in our xenon HID conversion kits, these bulbs start their lives as Philips™ D2 bulbs. We rebase the bulbs with custom molded bases and optically align the primary components using lasers for Halogen applications (H1, H4, H7 or 9006).
It is very hard for consumers to tell what a rebased bulb's source is, since the bulb base has been removed and all the identifying markings were on that base.
Depending on the equipment, labor rate, and manufacturing preferences, each rebase manufacturer may choose a different method of rebasing the bulb. Thus there can be some slight variations on the external appearance of the bulb, such as a trimmed bulb tip, bent/cut return ground wire and height of the return ground wire post. The true professional way to determine the source is to compare the bulb's internal components, size and salt color to a raw D2 bulb.
